Use videos in classroom

The use of videos in the class room, creates an opportunity to take the learner out the classroom to a virtual school outing.

Most of the learners in the school have not travelled much outside of their daily environment and their economic situations will not allow for that in the near future. I used a DVD to demonstrate and explain to them why nature conservation is so important. The DVD used a animated character to explain to learners how they can assist nature conservation by being environmentally conscious.

One of the learners stated that he only realizes after seeing the video, why his mother was angry at him when he threw a plastic coke bottle out of the window.
